By Air: State have a sole operating commercial Airport at pasighat, East Siang district. First commercial trip was made on 20th May 2018. Besides pasighat 7 other advance landing ground work is in progress at Walong, Ziro, Mechuka, Tuting, Tawang, Aalo and Vijay Nagar. One can get services between Guwahati to pasighat.

By Railway: just about 11km away from the state capital itanagar, Naharlagun railway station is located in Yupia. Railway Station was opened on April 2014. Doni polo express use to run in daily basis between Naharlagun (Arunachal Pradesh) to Guwahati (Assam). Their is also a facility of direct capital connection on Tuesday.

By Road: This is one of the best and available means of travel to Arunachal Pradesh. Because of topography, hilly terrain area other means of transportation is restricted by nature in the state. State is well connected with rest of the northeastern state by interbus terminal. Many private as well as government bus services are available in the state like Network bus service, Arunachal Pradesh state transport, knight rider, etc which connect with state district and with rest of the north eastern state.
